Ruby Red

Taken about 15 minutes after sunset, the colors in this photograph reminded me of ruby red grapefruit juice, hence its name. This photograph shows
Turnagain Arm at low tide, with the Alaska Range in the distance on the west side of Cook Inlet. Mt. Spurr, an 11,000' glacier-clad volcano rises from
the sea on the left, while on the right is the familiar silhouette of Mt. Susitna.
