Emerald Sky

Winter is a special time in the North. The short days, deep snow, and cold temperatures tend to keep people indoors, but just outside
the window magical things are happening. Alaska is perfectly situated to receive the northern lights, like the episode pictured here. This
great emerald-green arc danced over Anchorage, Alaska and the Chugach Mountains for several hours, allowing me to capture this
beautiful panorama comprised of six individual frames.
